Funky Field Trip is the new musical production from the creative minds of the Students of the Coastside Young Actors Workshop.
our students – from kindergarten through high school – create their own original play using Teacher/Director Auri Naggar’s technique of ‘Guided Improvisation.’ From their imaginations they come up with characters, story elements, dialogue, and songs.
Weekly after-school classes meet throughout the school year in Half Moon Bay and El Granada, grouped by age. In addition to learning and developing the skills of creative theater, each class works on its own part of the play.
The result of this session’s effort is Funky Field Trip, in which we will be visiting Burdaburp, Gweeneegweet, and Buzzork.
Please join us on May 7, and 8 at 7:30pm, and May 9 at 2:00pm at Half Moon Bay High School, on Lewis Foster Drive (West of Main St., North of Hwy. 92).
